As one of those that stutter whenever they speak, Harrison Craig has never been spared by bullies over his entire schooling life. Though that was the case, he ignored whatever they were doing and continued pursuing his dream –singing. You’re right to think he had to control his stuttering while he’s singing.
Upon hearing The Voice: Australia was holding auditions, he decided to try his luck out! Within this video, we see him being joined by another eager competitor called Tim Moxey. The two are performing “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban and they never disappoint while fighting for the winning spot. Harrison was the eventual winner and that meant he had to defeat Tim who also put in an incredible fight for the top spot.
Harrison’s performance caught many by surprise – including his mentor, Seal who had inspired him throughout the series. At the end, their unbelievable performance made the judges to give them a standing ovation.
