A late couple from Ohio is making people talk a lot. Kenneth and Helen Felumlee have played out The Notebook in real life, and you want to know what it’s like.

70 years ago, these two fell for each other in their very early 20s. In fact, they were barely in a legal position to have a serious relationship, with Ken below the legal age in Ohio at that time. However, as fate would have it, the two fell head over heels for each other, and they eloped to marry!

It might seem like a script from an overly romantic playbook, but Ken and Helen, until the time of their death, had so much to be proud of. They left 8 children and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. But there’s something else that’s about toknock you off that seat!

Helen was 92 when she passed away in 2014, and her hubby was 91. Their kids had witnessed their life of unreserved love and deep affection between the two, and they always knew what would happen if one of them died. Kenneth passed away barely 16 hours after his dear wife.
